- The following information is added and includes all RFQ requirements, there will not be any further attachments: MEMORANDUM TO ALL OFFERORS:11 Apr 2011 1. U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, Lakewood, CO, has a requirement for a commercial item. This combined synopsis/solicitation is prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6 (as supplemented with additional information included in this notice). This posting will be referred to under Request for Quotation (RFQ) Number 60181AQ352. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. A written solicitation will not be issued. This RFQ falls under procedures in FAR Parts 12 and 13. This document incorporates provisions and clauses updated by way of the Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-51 (Effective 01 Apr 2011). The North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) number is 339999. This requirement is NOT a Set-Aside. This announcement constitutes the Government's only official notice of this procurement. 2. FWS' salient characteristics that will satisfy the Government's needs for this requirement are: Loligo Systems or equal Swim Tunnel Respirometer, model SW10275, that meets the following specifications:- Shall be made of acrylic, plastic, or an alternative material to avoid rust and corrosion- Respirometer chamber shall be at least 185 liters in volume and accommodate a fish size of 750 - 5000 grams- Power shall be 3 Phase 230V / 60Hz- Shall include (1) surrounding water bath for temperature control; (2) flush pump; (3) speed control with analog input and output; (4) necessary fittings; tubing, and tools; (5) maintenance kit; and (6) user manual(s) 3. Delivery: FOB Bozeman, Montana USA: U.S. Fish and Wildlife, Fish Technology Center (FTC), 4050 Bridger Canyon Road, Bozeman MT 59715-8713. 4. Please submit your quote by 19 April 2011, Tuesday, via email, telefax or mail to the contract specialist: Timothy Officer (phone 1-303-236-4320), email is tim_officer@fws.gov fax is 1-303-236-4791, U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, 134 Union Blvd. Lakewood, Colorado 80225-0486. All pertinent point of contact information including DUNS No. is to be referenced on all quotes. In addition, your quote should provide unit price, total price, delivery date, and FOB Destination. No formal format is required as this is a combined synopsis/RFQ. If your company has a GSA contract, please provide the GSA Contract No. as well. 5. Quotes must be received no later than close of business at U.S. Fish and Wildlife cited above. Offerors must comply with all instructions contained in FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors - Commercial Items. The provisions at 52.212-2, Evaluation - Commercial Items, 52.211-6 Brand Name or Equal (Aug 1999), apply to this acquisition. Evaluation factors are price and delivery. The clause 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions - Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition. Also included in this acquisition are the following clauses: 52.204-7, 52.215-5, 52.225-01, 52.232-1, 52.233-1, 52.252-5, and 52.252-6, FWS 1452.204-1, DOI 1452.212-1, and DOI 1452.242-7. The clause at 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders - Commercial Items applies to this acquisition, no addenda applies. Additional FAR clauses cited in this clause applicable to this acquisition are: 52.222-3, 52.222-19, 52.222-21, 52.222-26, 52.222-36, 52.225-13, 52.232-34, 52.233-3, and 52.233-4. 6.
