- The Utah National Guard, in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures, intends to award a sole source purchase order to RMT Inc, a large business, for four (4) each Modular Tactical Computer Systems ST-0065-00. At the current time the sole source determination is based on the ability of the product being produced is only available from one known provider that can produce and/or have had their equipment tested with US Special Operations Forces in both training environments and deployed in support of OEF-A. The National American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this requirement is 423430. This is not a request for quote (RFQ). However, companies that can provide an equal product may submit their technical capabilities to include complete and detailed technical specifications of their product, past performance information, price, and delivery time within (5) calendar days of the date of this announcement. This information will be reviewed by the Government technical representatives for consideration. Responses to this posting must be submitted via e-mail; no phone calls will be accepted. A determination not to compete the described task order based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Federal Government.
