- Preventive Maintenance on UPS Systems 1, 2 and 3. This is a notice of intent to contract (NOCA). The Defense Threat Reduction Agency (DTRA) has a requirement for preventive maintenance on APC/MGE power equipment and batteries. The contractor shall be an authorized field service provider of APC/MGE power equipment to provide preventive maintenance on the following APC/MGE UPS systems; Galaxy PW, EPS7000, and Comet, as well as, be manufacturer certified to provide full battery preventive maintenance on each of the three APC/MGE UPS systems. Reference the attached Statement of Work (SOW) for the preventive maintenance requirements for each the aforementioned APC/MGE UPS systems. DTRA intends to award a sole source contract to APC/MGE, by Schneider Electric of West Kingston, RI. DTRA believes that APC/MFE by Schneider Electric is the only company authorized to provide preventive maintenance services and upgrades for APC/MGE equipment. Any other firm desiring consideration must fully identify its capability to perform the preventive maintenance requirements in the SOW in a Statement of Capability (SOC) SOCs are limited to three (3) pages. Submit SOCs electronically to rudy.chavez@dtra.mil no later than 18 Apr 2011 by 12:00 PM, Mountain Time.
