Description
U.S. GOVERNMENT WANTS TO LEASE OFFICE SPACE IN HOUMA, LOUISIANA (SFO #8LA2161) REQUIREMENT: The General Services Administration is interested in leasing approximately 7,963 rentable square feet, which will yield 6,924 ANSI/BOMA office area square feet of office and related space. The space will be occupied by DHS ICE - Office of Investigations (OI). LEASE TERM: 10 years; 5 years firm term. UNIQUE REQUIREMENTS: Space offered must be contiguous and located on one level without being split by a corridor. Space must have potential for an efficient layout. Space should be located in a professional office setting. Space shall not be located within close proximity to residential areas, schools, parks or churches. The Government requires a fully serviced lease including a total of seven (7) on-site secured surface parking spaces. The parking requirements stated above are in addition to onsite visitor parking. The Government requires building access and in-suite services on a 24 hour, 7 day a week basis. All services, supplies, utilities, partitioning and tenant alterations are desired as part of the rental consideration. Space shall not be located within a base (100-year) flood plain or wetland unless the Government has determined it to be the only practicable alternative. Subleases will not be considered. Space must be fully handicapped accessible. LOCATION: Offered properties must be located within the area bounded by the following: Northern Boundary: From the intersection of Hwy 309 and Hwy 1 in an eastern direction along Hwy 1 to the intersection of Hwy 1 and Hwy 182; Eastern Boundary: from the intersection of Hwy 1 and Hwy 182 in a southern direction along Hwy 182 to the intersection of Hwy 182 and Hwy 3087; from the intersection of Hwy 182 and Hwy 3087 in a southern direction along Hwy 3087 to the intersection of Hwy 3087 and E. Main St.; from the intersection of Hwy 3087 and E. Main St. in a southern direction along E. Main St. to the intersection of E. Main St. and E. Woodlawn Ranch Rd.; from the intersection of E. Main St. and E. Woodlawn Ranch Rd. in a western direction along E. Woodlawn Ranch Rd. to the intersection of E. Woodlawn Ranch Rd. and Hwy 57; from the intersection of E. Woodlawn Ranch Rd. and Hwy 57 in a southern direction along Hwy 57 to the intersection of Hwy 57 and Falgout Canal Rd.; Southern Boundary: from the intersection of Hwy 57 and Falgout Canal Rd. in a western direction along Falgout Canal Rd. to the intersection of Falgout Canal Rd. and Hwy 315; Western Boundary: from the intersection of Falgout Canal Rd. and Hwy 315 in a northern direction along Hwy 315 to the intersection of Hwy 315 and the southern city limits boundary of Houma, LA; from the intersection of Hwy 315 and the southern city limits boundary of Houma, LA in a western direction along the southern city limits boundary of Houma, LA to the intersection of the southern city limits boundary of Houma, LA and Hwy 182; from the intersection of the southern city limits boundary of Houma, LA and Hwy 182 in a western direction along Hwy 182 to the intersection of Hwy 182 and Hwy 20; from the intersection of Hwy 182 and Hwy 20 in an eastern direction along Hwy 20 to the intersection of Hwy 20 and Hwy 309; from the intersection of Hwy 20 and Hwy 309 in a northern direction along Hwy 309 to the intersection of Hwy 309 and Hwy 1. EXPRESSIONS OF INTEREST SHOULD INCLUDE THE FOLLOWING: 1) Building name and address. 2) One-eighth inch scale drawing of space offered. 3) Square footage offered. 4) Method of measurement used to determine rentable square feet. 5) Name, address, and telephone number of individual to be contacted 6) Evidence of authority to represent the owner.
