- The Bureau of Land Management (BLM) has exercised the option to extend the contract with Public Safety Technoligies (PST), Inc. for an annual maintenance agreement for 1 each, Server and 50 each, RADCOM Clients. THIS IS ACTUALLY A SPECIAL NOTICE, NOT A SOURCES SOUGHT. Contract is effective April 1, 2011 through March 31, 2012. This is a Limited Remote Management Agreement which includes only remote dial-in management assistance during normal business hours. PST is the only contractor authorized to make changes to RADCOM software. PST is the inventor and owner of the RADCOM mobile software product currently deployed throughout CDD LE, and Public Safety staff. The RADCOM software application is commercially proprietary and no other private or commercial vendor has access to the RADCOM software's source cod held by PST. Any changes made to the RADCOM server or software by unauthorized personnel would void the existing product warranties. The use of other law enforcement dispatching applications or mobile products would constitute a total redesign of both software and hardware components presently in place with California Desert District (CDD) and its Federal Interagency Communications (FICC) partners.
