- This acquisition is being issued in accordance with FAR Subpart 13.5. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation N00104-11-Q-Q572 is issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ). The solicitation incorporates provisions and clauses that are in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-48. This Request for Quote (RFQ), N00104-11-Q-Q572, is for Brand Name Network Appliance (NetApp). The Ship to is the Puget Sound Naval Shipyard located in Bremerton, WA 98314-5001. This RFQ is issued on an unrestricted basis with a North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) number of 334112 and the Small Business Size Standard is 1,000. The Contracting Officer will accept commercial subcontracting plans. Individual subcontracting plans are not required if the offeror submits a commercial subcontracting plan. Subcontracting plans only apply if you are a large business under NAICS Code 334112 submitting a quote. Anticipated award will be Firm-Fixed Price FOB destination. Product delivery shall be within 30 days ARO. The vendor shall quote ALL items to be eligible for award. Evaluation will be based on the Lowest Price Technically Acceptable offer. Proposals will only be considered from authorized Federal NetApp resellers certified at the GOLD level. Please provide Gold level certification with your quote submission. See attachments for the requirement pages 1-3 (quote on all pages) and the NetApp Brand Name Justification. Please complete the requirement pages as a pricing tool for quote submissions. The hardware must be in new, unused condition and the packaging seal unbroken. INSTRUCTIONS FOR SUBMISSION OF QUOTATIONS: Contractor ™s quote is due 5:00 P.M, Eastern, 20 Apr 2011, and shall be valid for 30 days.
