- Description
- Contractor shall provide all management, tools, supplies, equipment, labor, and transportation necessary to purchase stone, quarry blend, top soil, and fill for JB M-D-L in accordance with all applicable safety and environmental laws and regulations. Contractor shall provide stone, quarry blend, top soil, and fill to various locations on Dix and Lakehurst. All quantities listed in the bid schedule are estimated quantities only. Contractor must complete delivery orders of under 1,000 tons within 24 hours of notification, on delivery orders over 1,000 tons, we shall receive 1,000 tons per day. Contractor shall make deliveries to various locations throughout both installations to include the range areas. Contractor personnel and property shall be subject to search and seizure upon entering, while on, and leaving the installations in accordance with AR 190-22, paragraph 2-2. Contractor shall comply with all local, State, and federal regulations concerning environmental protection, hazardous, toxic materials, protective equipment, spills, and fires. Only responsible small businesses will be considered for award. The contract will be a Fixed-Price, Requirement contract. The proposed performance period is a base period from 01 May 2011 to 30 Sep 2011 with four (4) one year option periods. This is a commercial acquisition. This solicitation is a request for proposal and is issued as a 100% Small Business Set-Aside under the Standard Industrial Classification code 1442, NAICS code 212321. All potential sources must obtain a DUNS number and register in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) in order to transact business with the Department of Defense (DOD). Failure to obtain a DUNS number and register in the CCR may result in the delay of award of contract or possible award to the next otherwise successful offeror who is registered in the CCR at the time of award. Solicitation will be issued on or about 06 Apr 2011. The offer due date will be stated in the solicitation. The entire solicitation will be made available only on the Electronic Posting System (EPS Website) at http://www.fedbizopps.gov. The solicitation can be accessed by following the links on the EPS website to: USAF Offices, Air Mobility Command, 87 CONS. Paper copies will not be made available. Once the solicitation is posted, it is incumbent upon the interested parties to review the website frequently for any updates/amendments to this solicitation. All prospective offerors interested in submitting a proposal on this solicitation must have a commercial and government entity code (CAGE code).
