- The purpose of this synopsis is to gain knowledge of interest, capabilities and qualifications of various contractors to compete and perform a Firm Fixed Price Contract. In determining its acquisition methodology, the Government needs to assess the availability of adequate competition among the potential pool of responsive contractors. In order to meet timelines associated with withdraw of forces in the Iraqi theater, special consideration is being given those offers that are under a Federal Supply Service Schedule or are able to be awarded under a task order associated with basic award consistent with the scope of this requirement, e.g., GSA Mission Oriented Business Integrated Services (MOBIS) SIN 874-1: Consulting Services (874-1RC).
