- Description
- The National Park Service intends to issue a Request for Quote (RFQ) for replacement of HVAC central controller hardware and software at the Blue Ridge Parkway Headquarters office. PLEASE NOTE A CHANGE IN PHONE NUMBER FOR ISSUING OFFICE: 828-348-3419. The release of solicitation P11PS11074 is anticipated on or about April 13, 2011. Individual requests for solicitation packages are NOT accepted. In order to download a copy of the solicitation, vendors are asked to register their company with the electronic commerce website at the Department of Interior's (DOI) National Business Center's (NBC) website at http://ideasec.nbc.gov (search by the number Q5140110502) and at http://www.fbo.gov. All contractors shall be registered at the Central Contractor Registry (CCR) at the internet site http://www.ccr.gov and at the online certifications and representations at https://orca.bpn.gov. Be prepared with your company DUNS number and your Federal Tax Identification Number (TIN). The NAICS code for this procurement is 238220 and the size standard is $14M. The Government intends to award a performance-based, firm-fixed price commercial services contract in accordance with FAR Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items; FAR Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures; FAR Part 15; and FAR Part 19, Small Business Programs. This solicitation is a total set-aside for small business. Description: Contractor shall be responsible for providing all labor, materials, equipment, supervision, training and service necessary to install a complete and operational (28) Direct Digital Control (DDC) Building Automation System (BAS) as required to accomplish the sequences of control for heating, ventilating, air-conditioning and other building-level equipment and systems. The out of date existing automation central controller hardware and software are Reliable Controls and the central control software is RC Studio. Site visit dates will be noted in the solicitation. Responses are due approximately 21 days after RFQ is issued. The period of performance is 90 days after Notice to Proceed.
