Room 910, NP, Washington, DC 20229 Description The United States Customs & Border Protection (CBP) has a requirement for Relocation Management Services (RMS) for its employees located all over the world. U. S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) employs administrative support services from a RMS contractor to ensure all travel procedures and policies are applied appropriately to employee relocations. The purpose of RMS is to reduce CBP's overall relocation costs, to assist employees who are transferred, and to facilitate the retention of a well-qualified professional workforce. The contractor shall procure the moving and storage services as these relocations can occur anywhere within the U.S. and can extend beyond our borders into other countries. CBP anticipates awarding one (1) firm fixed price, Indefinite-Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract. The contract will be an IDIQ contract for a five year period, FY 11 thru FY 16 (Base Year and Four One Year Options to Renew). It is anticipated that the solicitation number HSBP1011R0017 will be issued on or about April 12, 2011. CBP intends to hold a preproposal conference after the solicitation had been released. Details regarding the pre-proposal conference will be included in the soliciatation. The solicitation will be distributed through fedbizopps, web site :http://www.fedbizopps.gov. Fedbizopps provides downloading instructions. Hard copies of the solicitation will not be issued. Therefore telephone, written or email requests for a hard copy of the soliciatation will not be accepted. All future information about this acquisition, including solicitation amendments will be issued solely through fedbizopps. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring the fedbizopps web site to ensure they have the most up-to-date information about this acquisition.
