- Command and Control (C2) and Information Management (IM) Industry Day Interested parties are hereby invited to participate in an Industry Day session to be held on 28 April 2011 regarding an update to Broad Agency Announcements (BAA) defined below from the Air Force Research Laboratory Information Directorate, Information Systems Division. The Industry Day session will be held at the Griffiss Institute, 725 Daedalian Drive, Rome, NY 13441. Registration for this event is required and is available at: www.griffissinstitute.org/industryday.html Registration must be submitted no later than 22 April 2011. Registration submissions using the above link will not be accepted after 22 April 2011. Attendance is limited to no more than 199 people and registration will be closed when that number is met. Due to space constraints, attendance will be limited to two individuals per CAGE code. Attendees are encouraged to submit written questions in advance. Note: This is NOT a "bidders conference" and this announcement is not a contract, request for proposal, a promise to contract, or a commitment of any kind. The Government will not assume liability for costs incurred by any offeror for presentations, marketing efforts or data offered for examination; therefore the cost of preparing information in response to this notice is not considered an allowable direct charge to the Government. For those that cannot make the industry day, a copy of the slides used will be posted to FBO as well as the questions and answers. DESCRIPTION: The Air Force Research Laboratory/Information Directorate will be conducting an Industry Day for Command and Control and Information Management technologies. The purpose of this meeting is to provide interested companies/entities with an overview of specific areas of interest, promote an early exchange of information, and provide an opportunity for both the Government and Industry to gather more information prior to the request for white papers for specific focus areas that will be published on the Federal Business Opportunity web site. The Command and Control Core Technical Competency (CTC) is seeking technical solutions for planning, executing and assessing operations in the air space and cyber domains. BAA solicitations include Cyber Command and Control (C2) Technologies/BAA-08-09-RIKA; Planning, Scheduling and Assessing Space Command and Control (C2)/BAA-10-05-RIKA and Integrated Command and Control/BAA-10-01-RIKA. A general session will be held as a half day event on 28 April 2011, from 0830 to 1200 for interested parties to obtain information from the Government Program Managers and Contracting team. Check in time is from 0800 to 0830. The Information Management Core Technical Competency (CTC) is seeking technical solutions for agile and secure information brokering and dissemination that enable the sharing of quality information among producers and consumers within resource and policy constraints under the BAA solicitation Service Oriented Information Management/BAA-10-08-RIKA. A general session will be held as a half day event on 28 April 2011, from 1330 to 1700 for interested parties to obtain information from the Government Program Managers and Contracting team.
