- The US Army Corps of Engineers, Rock Island District, intends to procure 24 name brand Midwest Model U075PC6010 uniposts in our solicitation for electrical supplies for Ivan's Recreation Area as implemented by FAR 5.102(a)(6) Availability of Solicitations. This is the brand of uniposts that we have throughout our recreation areas (approximately 450 campsites). Due to the immediate requirement for repair when electrical service goes down at a campsite - it is important that we have replacement parts in inventory. It is advantageous to the government to reduce our repair parts inventory to minimal needs. By having a consistent unipost at all our campsites we can accomplish this. The NAICS code for this procurement is 423610 with a size standard not to exceed 100 employees. THIS NOTICE IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES and no solicitation will be issued until this brand name posting intent is complete.
