- Procurement of subscriptions known as Yonhap English Premium News This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for a commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; offers are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The reference number applicable to this announcement is FA5209-11-Q-0090. This solicitation is being issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). This synopsis/combined solicitation incorporate provisions and clauses effective through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-48, 30 Dec 2010. The anticipated award will be a firm-fixed price contract. The NAICS code for this requirement is 424920; Size Standard: 100 employees. This acquisition is a one year subscription for each publication listed below of YONHAP (763098). The period of performance is from May 2011-April 2012. EVALUATION OF QUOTATIONS: The Government will award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose offer conforming to the solicitation will be most advantageous to the Government, price and best value in terms of terms of technical (capability of item(s) offered to meet the government need). Offers will be evaluated IAW 13.106-2. LATE OFFERS: Offerors are reminded that e-mail transmission of quote/offer prior to the closing date and time will not constitute a timely submission of quote/offer unless it is received by the government prior to the closing date and time. Quotations/offers or modification of quotes/offers received at the address specified for the receipt of offers after the exact time specified for receipt of offers WILL NOT be considered (ref. FAR 52.212-1(f)). All contractors must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration http://www.ccr.gov database prior to any contract award.
