Description
Request for Proposal (RFP) 11-JC-REG2-KYOACTS for the operation of Outreach & Admissions and Career Transition Services for youth in the State of Kentucky, will be issued on or about April 15, 2011. The requirement will be solicited as a 100% Set-Aside for Small Business, COST PLUS INCENTIVE FEE procurement. Job Corps is a National program administered by the U. S. Department of Labor that targets disadvantaged and at-risk youth ages 16 through 24, and emphasizes long-term employability by providing academic and career technical training, along with support services, in a residential and non-residential setting. The successful offeror will provide outreach and admissions for 898 arrivals annually and Post- Center Career Transition Services annually for 725 youth [650 graduates and 75 former enrollees] from the state of Kentucky. All activities shall be in compliance with applicable DOL/Job Corps regulations, policies, and handbooks. The successful contractor will operate the Outreach & Admissions and Career Transition Services functions for the State of Kentucky for a two year base period beginning 02/01/2012 through 01/31/2014. Additionally, the contract will include three 12-month Option periods to extend the contract performance through 2017. North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this acquisition is 561990 with a size standard of $7 million. The RFP is only available by downloading from the Federal Business Opportunity website at www.fedbizopps.gov. Written proposals in response to this RFP must be received at the US Department of Labor/ETA/Office of Contract Management at 170 S. Independence Mall West [The Curtis Center] Suite 775 West, Philadelphia, PA 19106 by 1:00 p.m. Local Time on May 19, 2011.
