Description
The Contracting Department, Fleet and Industrial Supply Center (FISC), Norfolk, VA, 23511-3392 intends to negotiate a Firm Fixed-Price commercial contract and will utilize procedures under FAR Part 13 Simplified Acquisitions for Academy-Level (accelerated) Paramedic Training Program for the Commander, Navy Region Mid-West, Naval Support Activity (NSA) Fire Department, Crane, IN. The NAICS code applicable to this procurement is 611519. The size standard is $7.0M. The period of performance is approximately May 9, 2011 - August 19, 2011. This requirement is a 100% set-aside to small business. The solicitation, any documents related to this procurement, and all amendments issued will be in electronic form. A complete RFQ package will be available on or about 05 April 2011 by downloading the documents at the NECO Website as follows: https://www.neco.navy.mil. DO NOT use the submit bid button on NECO to submit your quote. Potential contractors are hereby notified that the solicitation and subsequent amendments to the solicitation will ONLY be available for download at the above site; this office will no longer issue hard copy solicitations. By submitting an offer, the vendor is self-certifying that neither the principal corporate officials nor owners are currently suspended, debarred, or otherwise ineligible to receive contracts from any Federal Agency. Failure to do so may represent grounds for refusing to accept the offer. By submission of an offer, the vendor acknowledges the requirement that a prospective awardee must be registered in the CCR database prior to award, during performance, and through final payment of any contract resulting from this solicitation, except for awards to foreign vendors for work to be performed outside the United States. Lack of registration in the CCR database will make a contractor ineligible for award. Contractors may obtain information on registration and annual confirmation requirements by calling 1-866-606-8220, or via the Internet at http://www.ccr.gov. The Contracting Officer reserves the right to conduct verbal or written discussions with respect to other than price with the offerors at anytime prior to award.
