- The US Department of the Interior (DOI), Bureau of Indian Affairs (BIA), Office of Justice Service (OJS) intends to award a Blanket Purchase Agreement to Balco Uniform Co., Inc. as a SOLE-SOURCE HUB-ZONE set-aside for law enforcement uniforms and accessories. This BPA will be a firm-fixed price with a base year and four (4) option periods. The suggested NAICS code is 448190 and the applicable size standard is $19.0. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals, however, all proposals received by April 11, 2011, 1:00 P.M. EST shall be considered. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed requirement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement in the future. Evidence must be provided of ability to perform the requirement. Responses to this notice, if any, must show clear and convincing evidence that competition would be advantageous to the government. All contractors must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) to be considered for an award of a federal contract.
