- This synopsis is being posted to both the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) page located at http://www.fbo.gov and the Navy Electronic Commerce on Line (NECO) site located at https://www.neco.nvay.mil. While it is understood that FBO is the single point of entry for posting of synopsis and solicitation to the Internet, NECO is the alternative in case FBO is unavailable. Please feel free to use either site to access information posted by the Naval Sea Systems Command. The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren Division intends to (1) retune the Kenwood VHF Trunked Radio System to conform to the narrow band frequency mandate and (2) reconfigure the radio system installation to enhance maintainable. Retuning consists of replacing the Tx/Rx combiner at the repeater, retune each repeater transmitter/receiver (TRK740) and reprogram all radios. The Kenwood Radio System and Orbacom T5 Radio is the only product capable of meeting the Government ™s minimum requirements. Please include any shipping/freight costs for FOB Destination Dahlgren, VA 22448-5114. Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP) will be utilized for award in accordance with FAR Part 13. The order shall be firm fixed price. DFAR 252.232-7003 (Electronic Submission of Payment Requests and Receiving Reports) is applicable to this purchase. Pricing should be FOB Destination to the Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren Division, 6220 Tisdale Road, Suite 159, Dahlgren, VA 22448-5114. In order to be eligible for award, firms must be registered in the Central Contractor Registry (CCR). Offerors may obtain information on registration in the CCR by calling 1-888-227-2423, or via the Internet at https://www.ccr.gov. A formal request for quote will not be issued as all items are identified in this synopsis. Quote is due 11 April 2011, no later than 12:00 p.m. (local NSWCDD time) with an anticipated award date by 18 April 2011.
