- Description
- The Government's obligation under this contract is contingent upon the availability of appropriated funds from which payment for contract purposes can be made. The Government reserves the right to cancel this solicitation at any time. This project is for the Launch Facility Concrete Repair, Malmstrom AFB Missile Complex (Great Falls), Montana. Work consists of removal, disposal, and replacement of the 9' X 25' - 2 1/2" think concrete wearing surface slab. New wearing surface shall be constructed of welded wire fabric, 4000 psi concrete with synthetic fibers, broom finished appearance, and chemically cured. Removal of existing waterproof membrane under concrete wearing surface by a sandblasting process and installation of a new asphalt based water proof membrane. Installation of new poly foam expansion joints and expansion joint sealant on the Launcher Support Building. Removal and replacement of 110 lineal feet of the 2" X 2" flexible expansion joint sealant with backer rod on the Launcher Facility concrete slabs. All shall be in accordance with the project specifications and drawings. The Request For Proposal will be available on or about 14 Apr 2011. The Request for Proposal will close on or about 13 May 2011. The Performance Period for this project is ten (10) calendar days per site for three (3) sites after receiving the Notice to Proceed. The Winter Prohibition days will be from 1 Nov - 1 Apr of each calendar year. The Notice to Proceed will be issued within 10 days after award of the solicitation. This acquisition is set aside for 100% small businesses in accordance with the Small Business Jobs Act of 2010. The Request for Proposal will be available by Electronic Transmission only at: http://www.fbo.gov. Potential contractors must be currently registered in the Central Contractor Registry to be eligible for award. (See Internet Site: http://ccr.edi.disa.mil/ccragent/p/sq1/ccr.welcome). All responsible sources may submit an offer good through 30 Sep 2011, which shall be considered by the agency. Potential contractors must also be currently registered with ORCA. (See Internet Site: http://orca.bpn.gov/). The magnitude of this project is between $25,000.00 and $100,000.00.
