- The Federal Bureau of Prisons, Field Acquisition Office in Grand Prairie, Texas intends to issue solicitation RFQP031711000013, for the provision of Advanced Occupational Education, Culinary Arts Certificate Program for the Federal Correctional Institution Bennettsville, located at 696 Muckerman Road, Bennettsville, SC 29512. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 611210 (Size Standard: $7.00 Million). All contractors doing business with the Federal Government must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database under NAICS Code 611210. The contract period shall consist of a base year with (4) twelve month option periods for renewal. The maximum estimated quantities for the base period, and the possibility of four 12 month option periods is 1500 sessions. The solicitation will be available on/about April 05, 2011 and will be distributed solely through this website. Hard copies of the solicitation will not be available. The website provides downloading instructions to obtain all documents relating to this solicitation. All future information concerning this acquisition, including the solicitation and any subsequent amendments, will be distributed through the website. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring the website to ensure they have the most up-to-date information about the acquisition. The date for receipt of quotations is on/about April 29, 2011; however, this is a projected estimate and quoters should refer to Page 1 of the solicitation (Block #8) for the actual date quotations are due. The anticipated effective date of award is May 15, 2011. Faith-Based and Community-Based Organizations can submit offers/bids/quotations equally with other organizations for contracts for which they are eligible. This solicitation is a full and open competitive procurement. All small business concerns are encouraged to submit a quotation which may be considered.
