Description
J&A_11-047_ASFI *** This J & A synopsis is provided for informational purposes only and is not to be considered a request for proposal. *** POSTED: 01 APRIL 2011 CLOSED: 15 APRIL 2011 This action is to increase the Cost Plus Award Fee ordering ceiling of the contract by $12.5M, for continued software support and field support services on Advanced Field Artillery Tactical Data Systems (AFATDSs) and the Joint Automated Deep Operations Coordination System (JADOCS). This modification shall be awarded on an other than full and open competition basis pursuant to the authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1). Raytheon is currently providing software support and field support services as the original manufacturer of the AFATDS and JADOCS. This entails the development of the future integration and continuous improvement on the software system. This support will continue to provide Warfighters with the most effective systems to support critical missions in support of Overseas Contingency Operations (OCO)s. The ordering period of Contract Number DAAB07-99-C-E003 ends on 31 December 2012. This action is in response to ceiling being reached earlier than originally anticipated due to the demands of OCO support, and it is imperative that the support continue without interruption. The U.S. Army ACC-APG has established the IBOP website as part of the Army's Single Face to Industry, to allow electronic posting of contract actions that are required to be publicized for notification to Industry IAW FAR 5.201(b)(1). Questions and or concerns regarding this synopsis shall be directed to Mr. Sean McHugh, Contract Specialist, via phone (443) 861-4958 or email sean.mchugh2@us.army.mil. The Contracting Officer for this acquisition is Mrs. Sandra Lindecamp, via phone (443) 861-4946 or email sandy.lindecamp@us.army.mil.
