- Q&A 4 A-1 SOW (28 Mar 11) Amendment 3 Amendment 4: We have changed the PoP to 1 July 2011- 30 June 2012 with four option years and the clauses associated with the PoP change. We have also modified the SOW and added a clause. See amendment for details. No further questions will be accepted in response to this solicitation. **Proposals are now due 14 Apr 11 1200 PM MST.** Please find amendment #2 attached. We have also attached the conform copy of the solicitation for your reference of Exhibit A changes. This amendment covers changes to Exhibit A descriptions and added verbiage to 52.212-2 para 6.c. Offerors are reminded that signed copies of the solicitation and all amendments to the solicitation are required when submitting your propsal. We amended Attachment 1 (SOW) in reference to Q/A #1. Additionally, we expanded the detail of various items on the price list (Exhibit A). The final Q&A is also attached. Please see the attached questions and answers dated 11 March 11. The soliciation will continue to be solicited as unrestricted. The RFP will follow shortly*** **The site visit has been scheduled for 9 March 2011 at 9:00am. Please reference the attachment for details** ----------------------- This is a DRAFT Request for Proposal (RFP) posting only for FA4690-11-R-0001, Contractor Operated Civil Engineer Supply Store (COCESS) located on Ellsworth AFB, SD 57701. The final RFP has an ESTIMATED posting date of 23 Dec 2010. Please submit any questions concerning the DRAFT RFP or the Statement of Work (SOW) in the format specified in the attached COCESS Q & A Sheet to jacob.sabin@ellsworth.af.mil and angel.pearce@ellsworth.af.mil, or via fax at 605-385-1741 (Attn: Lt Jacob Sabin) All dates currently in the DRAFT RFP are subject to change and will be finalized with the issuance of the final RFP. ----------------------- The 28th Contracting Squadron, Ellsworth AFB, SD intends to solicit, compete and award a Firm Fixed Price (FFP) Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) option contract for a Contractor Operated Civil Engineer Supply Store (COCESS). The period of performance on this contract will be for 12 months which consists of 1 basic year with 4 option years. The acquisition will be conducted in accordance with FAR 12 and 15 procedures. The Request for Proposal (RFP) number FA4690-11-R-0001 and all related attachments will be posted in Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) approximately 7 December, 2010. This acquisition will utilize full and open competition. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this acquisition is 444190. If you are claiming status of small business under this NAICS, the Small Business size standard is no more than 500 employees. Description: The contractor shall provide all necessary labor, supervision, equipment, supplies, and materials to deliver a simplified method for authorized personnel to purchase quality material, tools, and equipment used for work orders, construction, recurring maintenance and repair, and self-help type work. The store shall be located on the installation and provide easy access for authorized individuals and contain a wide variety of commercial and industrial products (i.e., items found in commercial stores like Lowes, Home Depot or other local lumber and building supply stores). The store shall stock high use/consumable items for immediate purchase. The store shall provide a customer service center with management personnel that will provide quality customer service. Other specific proposal preparation and submission requirements as well as contract terms and conditions will be specified in the resulting RFP.
