- Description
- The Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) intends to conduct a full and open competition and release a Request for Proposal (RFP) in February 2011 for Customer and Data Services for the Risk Mapping, Assessment, and Planning (Risk MAP) program. The Period of Performance is expected to be one (1) twelve-month base period with four (4) twelve-month option periods. The Risk MAP Program is managed by the Risk Analysis Division of the Flood Insurance and Mitigation Administration within FEMA. This requirement is expected to be solicited through full and open competition. Customer and Data Services includes the distribution of digital products; e-commerce services; fulfilling data requests from customers; operating a contact center for the public to obtain information about National Flood Insurance Program (NFIP) mapping; informing the general public regarding NFIP; integration of data from other partners into the National Flood Hazard Layer; maintenance services of HAZUS-MH technology; and aspects of information technology that support all of Risk MAP. This also includes data storage, archival repository, and inventory control. "FEMA does not discriminate against anyone based on color, sex, race,religion, creed or ethnic background. The cutoff date and time for receiving questions concerning this Request for Proposal is 2:00 PM EST, April 13, 2011. The cutoff date is established to allow FEMA sufficient time to evaluate and answer all questions and to distribute those questions to all interested parties. Distribution of questions and answers shall be via an amendment to this Solicitation posted to FEDBIZOPS.
