Description
THIS IS A REQUEST FOR INFORMATION (RFI) BEING RELEASED PURSUANT TO FEDERAL ACQUISITION REGULATIONS (FAR) PART 10 MARKET RESEARCH. This is not a Request for Proposal (RFP), and nothing shall be construed herein or through the RFI process to commit or obligate the Government to further action as a result of the RFI. In addition, contractors responding to this RFI shall bear all risk and expense of any resources used to provide the requested information. The information collected through this process is considered to be market research as described by FAR 2.101 and in accordance with FAR 10.002. Not responding to this RFI does not preclude participation in any further RFP, if any is issued. This RFI is issued to assess the level of interest and capabilities of all interested parties. The Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC) was established in 1863 as a bureau of the U.S. Department of the Treasury. The OCC charters, regulates, and supervises all national banks to ensure a safe, sound, and competitive banking system that supports both the citizens and the economy of the United States. Information Requested The OCC issues this Request for Information to identify potential sources that are interested in and capable of providing General Accounting Support that includes comprehensive financial, operational, and system-related capabilities that encompass knowledge of federal regulations and statutory requirements for financial management. The key personnel must have experience related to Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Budgeting, Investments, Fixed Assets, Auditing, Purchasing, Relocation, Payroll Transaction Processing, Internal Controls, and Financial Systems Operations. These General Accounting Support services are for the Deputy Chief Financial Officer for Financial Management Office, and the Chief Information Security Officer for Information Technology Services office which includes Security and Compliance Services. Submission Information Qualified offerors must respond to Azita Mamdouhi no later than 2:00 p.m. EST, on April 8, 2011 by emailing the following information to Azita.Mamdouhi@occ.treas.gov : Your socioeconomic status (e.g., HUBZone, Small Business, etc.) Provide GSA vehicle information (to include contract number) for only those vehicles that encompass the type of work described herein. Brief overview of your company and the services it provides. Description of your firm's capabilities and qualifications as they relate to the business need and general requirements stated in this Request for Information. Provide three examples from past performance projects similar to the capabilities described above (examples can include Government and commercial projects) and include the following: Contract number Contract name Customer name Contract value Contract type Contract period of performance Role (i.e., prime contractor or subcontractor) - If you were a subcontractor, please also identify the prime contractor. Contracting Officer's Technical Representative (COTR) name COTR email address COTR telephone number Short summary of the customer's business need - This summary is limited to 150 words in length. Description of the services provided and how the implemented solution successfully addressed the customer's business need. Note: If you were a subcontractor, this description should be restricted to the services provided by your staff only. Describe your company's continuing training, re-certification, and education programs for its employees. RFI Response Guidelines and Procedures Questions regarding this RFI shall be submitted via email to Azita.Mamdouhi@occ.treas.gov no later than April 1, 2011 by 5:00 p.m. EST. No telephone calls will be accepted. All responses are limited to five pages in 12pt., Times New Roman font and should not exceed 1MB in size. All responses shall be submitted to Azita Mamdouhi, via email at Azita.Mamdouhi@occ.treas.gov no later 2:00 p.m. on April 8, 2011
