- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement is being issued as a request for quotation (RFQ) and constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular. This combined synopsis/solicitation is set-aside 100% for small business. The NAICS code that applies is 722310 and business size is $35.5 Million. This requirement is for dining facility mess attendant services at the 162nd Fighter Wing, 1500 E Valencia Rd, Building 5, Tucson, AZ, 85706. Services are required approximately eight hours per day, two days per month, 12 months per year for a total of 24 days (see schedule in attached PWS). The contractor shall provide personnel, equipment, tools, materials, supervision, transportation and other items and services necessary to provide supplemental food service personnel on the Arizona Air National Guard Base, 162nd Fighter Wing, 1500 E Valencia Rd, Building 5, Tucson, AZ, 85706. This shall cover the period set forth in the contract, during Unit Training Assembly weekends May 2011 through April 2012. Offerors shall forward past performance questionnaires to at least 3 references and request that responses be sent directly to 162FW Mission Support Contracting office by 3:00pm Mountain Standard Time (MST) 12 April 2011. A site visit is scheduled for 1:00pm MST 11 April 2011. Offerors or quoters are urged and expected to inspect the site where services are to be performed and to satisfy themselves regarding all general and local conditions that may affect the cost of contract performance, to the extent that the information is reasonably obtainable. In no event shall failure to inspect the site constitute grounds for a claim after contract award. This is a best value acquisition. The Government will make an award to the responsible offeror whose offer conforming to the solicitation is the most advantageous to the government.
