- Contractor shall completely prepare site for building operations, including demolition and removal of existing structures, furnish labor, material and equipment necessary to demolish, remove and repave part of the north entrance (Hines Boulevard) to the VA Medical Center, Chillicothe, Ohio. The work includes but is not limited to architectural, electrical, roadways, earthwork, trees and planting work and other items as required all within strict accordance with the plans and specifications, as shown on the project drawings and as specified. Work to be completed within 120 calendar days after receipt of Notice to Proceed. Plans, specifications and drawings will be available on line on or about March 3, 2011. Estimated cost range is between $250,000 and $500,000. A pre-bid conference will be held Thursday, March 17, 2011 at 10:00 a.m. (local time) in Building 1, Room 121, at the Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center, 17273 State Route 104, Chillicothe, Ohio; all prospective contractors, subcontractors and suppliers are urged to attend. This will be the only site visit scheduled for this project. Bid Opening is scheduled for Friday, April 22, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. (local time). This project is 100% set aside for Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business. NAICS Code 236220 $33.5 Million
