- This announcement is a notice of intent to extend an existing contract on a sole source basis to Cadence International, 101 W. Jefferson Ave, Englewood, CO 80110, for the Children Ministry Coordinator Services contract at Fort Hood, Texas. The proposed contract action will extend the performance period of Contract W91151-09-M-0100 by three months under the authority of FAR 6.302-1, Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services will Satisfy Agency Requirements, 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1). Estimated dollar value of this action is $17,395.23, for the period of performance: 1 May 2011 through 30 Jul 2011. The Government's intent is to extend the current contract in order to continue the programs in place to run concurrent with the remainder of the school year, at which time it is anticipated that a new contract will be in place. Due to the planning and coordination required, there is no possibility that other contractors can meet the current requirements. Comments should be submitted to the contracting office by email to: angel.barkley@us.army.mil, no later than 29 Apr 2011 at 1200 CST. Comments submitted for consideration of other methods will not be evaluated. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotations. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed procurement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this acquisition is 813110. There is no associated small business size standard.
