- Description
- The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division Lakehurst, NJ intends to enter into sole source negotiations with the Boeing Company of St. Louis, MO for one (1) Hydraulic Test Panel in support of the F/A-18 aircraft. The Boeing Company is the original designer, developer and manufacturer of the Hydraulic Test Panel and is the only source with the requisite knowledge, experience and expertise to provide the Hydraulic Test Plan and to evaluate the possible replacements for the obsolete components. The Government does not own the rights to the data, drawings, or other specifications to permit full and open competition. All responsible sources are encouraged to submit a proposal which may be used by the Government in determining whether or not to conduct a competitive procurement. Responses should reference N68335-11-R-1235. A determination by the Government not to open the requirement to competition based on the responses of this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. No solicitation will be available for this procurement.
