- THIS CONTRACTING ACTION IS ADVERTISED AS A 100% SMALL BUSINESS SET ASIDE- RESTRICTED TO SMALL BUSINESS ONLY. THE UPCOMING ACQUISITION WILL FALL UNDER NAICS 237310, ASPHALT PAVING (i.e., Highway, Road, Street, Public Sidewalk) WITH A SIZE STANDARD OF $33.5M. SUMMARY OF WORK: Asphalt Paving Repairs and SEAL COATING: Contractor shall furnish all materials, labor, equipment, and supervision, necessary to seal coat approximately 11,100 SY of identified pavement around existing Fish Hatchery Buildings and to repair by replacing approximately 775 SY of pavement and base as shown on drawings at Garrison Dam NFH, Riverdale ND 58565-0530, located in Mclean County, North Dakota, in strict accordance with the attached Specifications and Drawings. LOCATION AND INSPECTION OF SITE Prospective offerors are highly encouraged to visit the work area (Garrison Dam National Fish Hatchery, located in Mclean County, Nouth Dakota ) in order to examine the existing site conditions by making arrangements with the Project Leader, Rob Holm 701-654-7451. Additional Site Visit information will also be listed in the solicitation. GENERAL INFORMATION The project will be solicited using a negotiated procurement process through the issuance of a Request for Proposals (RFP), with the intent to award a firm fixed price contract to the offeror whose proposal is determined to be the lowest price technically accpetable offer (LPTA) as per the RFP. The specific evaluation and award process will be outlined in the forthcoming solicitation. The estimated magnitude of construction is between $50,000.00 and $100,000.00. The total performance period is 60 days from the Notice to Proceed, this period will include all aspects of the project including site preparation and final cleanup. The solicitation package (RFP) is anticipated to be available electronically on or about March 31, 2011 to all Small Business firms with an anticipated closing date of 29 APRIL 2011 2:00 P.M. Copies of the solicitation, specifications, and drawings can be obtained at http://www.fedbizopps.gov once available for issuance.
