- This is a Notice of Intent of the U. S. Army Corps of Engineers, Memphis District, located at 167 N. Main Street, B-202, Memphis, TN 38103-1894 to negotiate a sole source award with Jerry B. Young Construction, 2150 Philadelphia, Lebanon, TN 37087-8105, (615) 443-0493. The NAICS Code is 237990. The estimated value of the work is between $1,000,000.00 and $5,000,000.00. This contract action was accomplished using other than competitive procedures because a statue exists that expressly authorizes or requires that this acquisition be made from a specific source or through another agency; specifically, FAR 6.302-5(b)(4) for sole source awards under the 8(a) program 15 U.S.C. 637(a) and in accordance with 13 CFR 124.1-1(c) and FAR 19.8. The work consists of furnishing all plant, labor and materials for constructing three (3) weir repairs and two (2) bank repairs according to the specifications and plans. The project limits are adjacent to the Wolf River at five (5) different locations along the Wolf River as shown on the plans. Along 1800 ft. of River Bank, approximately 33,000 tons of rock Bedding and Rip-Rap shall be placed in the water and along the banks of the River.
