- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial services. Request for Quote (RFQ) W52P1J-11-Q-0018 is hereby issued for quotes only and a written solicitation will not be issued. This RFQ is issued as a Full and Open Competition and will result in one, or potentially multiple, BPA awards. This RFQ is issued using Simplified Acquisition Procedures pursuant to FAR Part 13. This requirement is for the procurement of rental cars within Port-Au-Prince, Haiti, and various other locations within Haiti, as directed by the Contracting Officer. Services are requested to start immediately following BPA award through approximately 30 April 2011. Additional services may be added as required. The anticipated period of performance for this contract will be one (1) base year plus two (2) one-year option periods. BPA holders will be able to revise their prices at the beginning of each option period. This RFQ is for the following: CLIN 0001: Vehicle Rental & Driver Services Pricing shall include the vehicle rental and one (1) driver per vehicle rental. The following vehicle types and quantities are requested: Two (2) SUV - no less than 5 passenger One (1) Minivan - 7 passenger Unit of Measure: per vehicle (to include driver), per day The offeror that has the capabilities to perform the required services and that has the lowest overall quote will win the contract award for this RFQ. Unsuccessful offerors will be notified immediately following selection of the successful offeror.
