- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial services. Request for Quote (RFQ) W52P1J-11-Q-0017 is hereby issued for quotes only and a written solicitation will not be issued. This RFQ is issued as a Full and Open Competition and will result in one contract award. This RFQ is issued using Simplified Acquisition Procedures pursuant to FAR Part 13. This requirement is for the procurement of various life support services, to include but is not limited to: latrine (port-a-potty) services, and bulk water supply) within Port-Au-Prince, Haiti and various other locations within Haiti, as directed by the Contracting Officer. Services are requested to start on 29 March 2011, with services running to approximately 30 April 2011. Additional services may be added as required. The anticipated period of performance for this contract will be one (1) base year plus two (2) one-year option periods. This RFQ is for the following: 0001 Latrine & Latrine Services 0001AA Provide & Remove Latrines (Port-a-potties) Unit of Measure: per Latrine, per day 0001AB Service Latrines to include but is not limited to: Pumping, wipe down interior, deodorizer, Fresh water, 2-rolls of toilet paper Unit of Measure: per Latrine, per day 0001AC Re-positioning of Latrine Unit of Measure: per Latrine, per movement 0002 Bulk Water and Services Deliver up to 3000 gallons of water to various locations at the Port-au-Prince port locations as identified by the Contracting Officer. Unit of Measure: Per Delivery 0003 Service Calls for Latrines Service Calls for Latrines, including any applicable fees. Unit of Measure: Per Service Call The offeror that has the capabilities to perform all required services and that has the lowest overall quote will win the contract award for this RFQ.
