- This synopsis is being posted to both the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) page located at http://www.fbo.gov and the Navy Electronic Commerce on Line (NECO) site located at https://www.neco.navy.mil. While it is understood that FBO is the single point of entry for posting of synopsis and solicitations to the internet, NECO is the alternative in case FBO is unavailable. Please feel free to use either site to access information posted by the Naval Sea Systems Command. Note: The Naval Undersea Warfare Center, Division Newport, Rhode Island is NOT accepting quotes or proposals via submission through NECO. The Naval Undersea Warfare Center Division Newport, Newport, Rhode Island intends to purchase services to perform both surveillance (Qty. 9) and registration audits (Qty. 1) to maintain ISO 9001:2008 registration and or certification. Contractor must be an ANAB- accredited registration body. A firm fixed price purchase order containing a base requirement and four options is anticipated. The period of performance will be from date of award through 5 yrs. thereafter. Place of performance will be NUWC Division Newport; Newport, RI and Dodge Pond Test Facility Niantic, CT. This requirement is unrestricted. NAICS Code is 541330. Size standard is $25M. Further details will be provided in RFQ #N66604-11-Q-2582, which is anticipated to be released on or about 03/30/11. Contractors must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) (http://www.ccr.gov) and ORCA (http://orca.bpn.gov/) to be eligible for award. Instructions for registration are available at the websites. Evaluation factors are technical capability, price and past performance. Each is equally important.
