- This Sources Sought Notice is for informational and planning purposes only and shall not be construed as a solicitation or as an obligation or commitment by the Government. This notice is intended strictly for market research. The purpose of this Sources Sought notice is to determine interest and capability of potential qualified Small Business Administration (SBA) certified: 8(a), HubZone and Service Disabled Veteran-Owned firms relative to the North American Industry Classification Code (NAICS) 811310 (Commercial & Industrial Machinery & Equipment Repair & Maintenance). The U.S. Military Academy West Point, NY is seeking sources capable of providing the necessary management, supervision, administration, personnel, transportation, supplies, material, repair parts, tools, and test equipment necessary to perform preventive maintenance (PM), full load safety test and inspection, emergency call-back service, service calls and all other repairs (example, lighting) to approximately seventy-two (72) elevators, twelve (12) chair lifts, three (3) dumbwaiters and related equipment to be performed at the United States Military Academy (USMA), and the United States Military Academy Prep School (USMAPS), West Point, NY. For market research purposes this is a requirements type contract. This will not be lump sum, instead the project will be completed through the issuance of delivery orders. Interested sources are requested to submit an email delineating qualification, capabilities, and experience for providing these services. Sources must sufficiently demonstrate the capability to perform these services and must provide detailed experience and qualifications in all previous work pertinent to this effort. Please include your business size with your submittal. This is not a Request for Proposal or an announcement of a solicitation and no solicitation package exists at this time. Your responses will be used solely for market research purposes of the Government. The Government will not pay for any materials provided in response to this notice and submittals will not be returned to the sender. The applicable North American Classification System (NAICS) Code for this requirement is 811310 and the small business size standard is $7.0M. Responses due are to be submitted by e-mail to sharon.blanche@usma.edu. The information requested must be received no later than 4:00 PM Eastern Standard Time on March 29, 2011.
