- Description
- This synopsis is to announce the intended negotiations, on a sole source basis to acquire services for repair of the Joint Helmet Mounted Cueing System (JHMCS) components using other than full and open competition procedures. The anticipated award will be for a five year Requirements contract consisting of a one year basic period with four one year ordering periods. This effort is anticipated to be awarded as Firm Fixed. Items/quantities are as follows: Noun: Lower Helmet Vehicle Interface Cables NSN 6150-01-521-3205WF, P/N 178-6126-3, BEQ 156 each per year NSN 6150-01-504-5576FX, P/N 178-6384-2, BEQ 54 each per year Required delivery: 60 days after receipt of order. This is a limited source procurement, the Government intends to solicit Teledyne Reynolds, Inc., 5005 McConnell Avenue, Los Angeles CA 90066-6715 (CAGE 99747). The statutory authority permitting other than full and open competition is 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1): Supplies (or services) required are available from only one or a limited number of responsible sources and no other type of supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. Specifications, plans, or drawings related to this procurement are incomplete or not available and cannot be furnished by the Government.
