- Pre-Solicitation Notice The 11th Contracting squadron intends to procure a contract for support of off duty education services. The prospective offeror shall provide all personnel, supervision, transportation, and services in support of U.S. Air Force voluntary off-duty education program. The contractor shall be required to provide academic advisement, information, and guidance plus preparation of documents associated with the services provided. The contractor shall perform and administrative duties as assigned in accordance with (IAW) the PWS, which shall be included in the solicitation. This service contract will be performed at Andrews AFB, MD. A firm-fixed price contract award is contemplated at a mutually agreed upon price for one base year, and four option years to follow. This action will be set-aside 100% for small business. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 611710, with the business size standard dollar amount of $7.0M. It is anticipated that period of performance for the base year will begin on 21 April 2011 through 20 April 2012. It is anticipated the solicitation will be issued electronically within 30 days on the Federal Business Opportunities web page at http://www.fbo.gov. Paper copies will not be available. Once the solicitation is posted, it is incumbent upon the interested parties to review this site frequently for any updates/amendments to any and all documents. Any prospective contractor must be registered in the Contractor Registration (CCR) in order to be eligible for award. Information concerning CCR registered requirements may be viewed via the Internet at http://www.ccr.gov or by calling the CCR Registration Center at 1-888-227-2423. This notice does not obligate the Government to award a contract, it does not restrict the Government in its ultimate acquisition approach, nor does it obligate the Government to pay for any proposal preparation costs.
