- Questions 1) What type of Altinex equipment are we installing with? I assume that we will be connecting the Extron to the Altinex. 2) Will the installer be required to connect video sources to the Extron Matrix Switch? 3) Are cables required, How many, what length. 4) Is the contractor required to route and/or run cables 5) Is the contractor required to perform system tests, programming or troubleshooting? 6) The Extron MVX 1616 solicitation details mentions optional remote control panels, are the optional control panels are requirement? 7) Can you provide a simple explanation describing the Statement of Work beyond the system will include all labor to install with existing Altinex equipment Answers: The Extron will connect to a ALTEX wireless remote CP 450-008. The Extron will have a 16 inputs and 16 outputs all VGA Cables Cables are on station. All input and output devices are on stat Question: Is this request to replace an existing unit and then install the old cabling and perform a performance check with the customer, or is this a more extensive installation where modifications to the cabling and connectors have to be made from the equipment as well? Answer: This is to make an existing unit work. This intricate piece of equipment was missed during the last purchase and this is to fix it. No modes to cables, we just looking for connectivity and function.
