- Description
- The Naval Surface Warfare Center Panama City Division (NSWC PCD) intends to solicit, on a Sole Source basis, to Triumph Controls LLC for 5 each, Part # 689330-1, Control Assembly, Push/Pull. This procurement is sole source for the following reason: Standardized equipment is used and has been tested and certified. The use of alternate equipment is not authorized, as it will require more testing certification and additional cost. The Triumph Controls LLC is the only company that holds the items that have been tested and certified. The proposed contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. The North American Industry Classification System Code (NAICS) is 332999, and the Large Business size standard is 500 employees. The Department of Defense will no longer award contracts to contractors not registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) Database. Registration may be accomplished by accessing the CCR website at http://www.ccr.gov/. Award will be based on a fair and reasonable price on or about 04/01/11.
