- NASA/GSFC has a requirement for Ansoft/Ansys (or equivalent software)licenses andone year of support and maintenance of the products listed below:1. Ansys HFSS2. Ansys HFSS IE Solver3. Ansys Multi-Processor for HFSS4. Ansoft Pre/Post Processor5. Ansoft Optimetrics for HFSS6. Ansoft Links for HFSS7. Ansoft Designer Pre/Post Processor8. Ansys HFSS Solver (annual support & maintenance)9. Ansoft Designer10. Ansoft Designer RFNASA/GSFC intends to purchase the items from Ansys Corporation because these items areproprietary to Ansys Corporation; therefore no other vendor can provide the licenses forthe described software.The Government intends to acquire a commercial item using FAR Part 12. Interested organizations may submit their capabilities and qualifications to perform theeffort in writing to Janicea McCree at 301-286-9159 or Janicea.L.McCree@nasa.gov notlater than 4:30 p.m. eastern time on April 03, 2011. Such capabilities/qualificationswill be evaluated solely for the purpose of determining whether or not to conduct thisprocurement on a competitive basis. A determination by the Government not to competethis proposed effort on a full and open competition basis, based upon responses to thisnotice, is solely within the discretion of the government.Oral communications are not acceptable in response to this notice.All responsible sources may submit an offer which shall be considered by the agency.NASA Clause 1852.215-84, Ombudsman, is applicable.
