- Contract DTFAAC-06-D-00001 is a time and materials contract to provide continuing Depot Level Support (CDLS) for the Automated Weather Observing System (AWOS) in support of the National Airspace System (NAS). The contract provides for an initial term covering the period October 1, 2005 thru September 30, 2006, and four options for one-year extensions and one 6 month extension (if required). The FAA plans to extend contract DTFAAC-06-D-00001 for an additional six month period beginning April 1, 2011 through September 30, 2011. The FAA intends to solicit and negotiate only with the incumbent All Weather, Inc., Sacramento, CA, in accordance with AMS Policy 3.2.2.4. A market survey was conducted in December 29th, 2010, through January 6, 2011, and the results of this survey supported the determination to solicit and negotiate supported the single source determination.
