- This is a sources sought synopsis only. The purpose of this notice is to gain knowledge of potential qualified sources for lease of Custom Temporary Modular Building for FTX site at Eglin AFB, Florida. Responses to this notice shall include the following: (a) company name (b) address, (c) point of contact, (d)"number of employees" as defined by the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) part 19.101 and (e) the amount of "annual receipts" as defined by the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) part 19. In addition, the respondent must provide a capability statement that addresses the organization's qualifications and ability to perform as a prime contractor for the requirement described below. 2) Description: Lease of Custom Temporary Modular Building for FTX site at Eglin AFB, Florida acquisition. Contractor will do the following work on site. Break-down and remove existing building from the site. Remove all metal doors and framework from existing building to be used on new unit. Install pad clay/sand (60-40%) mixture on site where the building is being located. Block, and anchor new unit, install metal trim work and doors, from old building to new. Install 3.5 Ton SEER-13 heat pump A/C unit, Install clay colored skirting, to match exterior of building. Re-install and level existing grated metal steps. Provide 200 AMP electric boxes, remove existing unit from site. Disconnect tongue of new unit and slide under frame. Wheels and axles will be removed from new unit and will be returned to the factory. Barracks built to Florida state code i.e. 140 MPH winds, 200 AMP electrical service, w/heating/cooling vents in ceiling. Exterior walls built with 2x6's, and interior walls built with 2x4's 16" apart. Insulation: R30-Roof, R19 Ext. Walls, R19 ext. Walls, R22 Floor, and R11 interior walls. Estimated total time from construction to installation is 7 ½ weeks from time of award. Three tab shingled roof white in color, barracks will be Clay in color with matching skirting. Leveling and mounting existing stairs. Warranty: 5 years construction, one year on set-up.
