Description
AMENDMENT 00002 TO SOLICITATION N66001-11-T-5522 Amendment 00002 dated March 24, 2011 1. The purpose of this amendment is to correct #13 description to read as follows: 13. Shall have full braking system on elevation and cross-elevation in the event of loss power. 2. The closing date remains unchanged. ************************************************************ AMENDMENT 00001 TO SOLICITATION NUMBER N66001-11-T-5522 Amendment 0001 dated March 23, 2011 1. This amendment incorporates the following information to fully clarify the Government's requirements as follows: Antenna to be procured should have the following specifications: 1. Shall pass MIL-STD-901D. 2. Shall pass MIL-STD-167-1. 3. Shall pass MIL-STD-461E and MIL-STD-464A. 4. Shall have a radome transmission loss of < 1 dB across the entire band from 1 GHz 18 GHz. 5. Shall have adjustable polarization in less than 0.6 resolution from vertical to horizontal. 6. Antenna reflector shall be no greater than 1.0 meter. 7. Antenna control interface shall be via RS-422. 8. Antenna shall have capability to be fully controlled in azimuth, elevation and polarization via an external interface (RS-422). 9. Antenna shall accept digital user command (as defined in vendor supplied interface control document) to point at a location in the sky and hold position without external reference inputs. 10. The digital command shall be recieved and processed onboard the antenna and not through any seperate control box or below deck equipment. 11. Antenna shall accept user command (as defined in interface control document) to point at a location in the sky and hold position without external reference inputs. 12. Full interface control document shall be provided. 13. Shall have full braking system on azimuth and elevation in the event of loss power. 14. Shall have the following response to ship's motion: 1. Roll (minimum): 20 in 11 seconds, 2. Pitch (minimum): 10 in 7 seconds, 3. Yaw (minimum): 5 in 7 seconds 15. Antenna pointing accuracy shall be less than 0.5. 16. Antenna shall have vertical vibration isolation. 17. Antenna shall have stabilization rate in all three axis approximately 90/ s. 18. Antenna must be manufactured in accordance with DFARS 252.225-7001, Buy American Act & Balance of Payments Program. 2. All responses to this sole source announcement must be received no later than March 29, 2011, 8AM PDT in order to be considered by the Government. **************************************************************** This is a sole source announcement. No hard copy request for quotation will be prepared or made available for distribution. Space and Naval Warfare Systems Center, Pacific (SSC Pacific) intends to award a firm-fixed price contract to Cobham SATCOM dba: Sea Tel, Inc. to purchase the following item: Model 4009-17, 1.0 Meter Ku-Band TX/RX Stabilized Antenna System, Qty 1 each.
