- Brand Name Justification FLENUMMETOCCEN has used the Intel Compilers on its systems for years. Intel Compiler Suite for Linux is approved in DADMS and assigned to FLENUMMETOCCEN in MAAD. To switch compilers would require finding an acceptable replacement software application, gaining approval to use it, and re-training our personnel to use the new tool. This is likely to be much more expensive than merely buying support service renewal for the already installed items. Plus, applications that run on Intel processors (such as ATOS2) that have been compiled using Intel compilers are up to 30% more efficient in execution than when compiled with other brand compilers.
