This need will be satisfied by sole source bridges to contracts N62645-06-D-5002, N62645-06-D-5003, N62645-06-D-5004, and N62645-06-D-5005 to extend services of the firm-fixed price, personal services contracts. Award will be made to incumbents RLM Services, Inc., Mid America Health, Inc., Saratoga Medical Center, Inc., and DPS, Inc., on firm-fixed price contracts. The bridge contracts will continue to provide dental services, through 01 July 2012. Services are required for a base period of performance of 01 June 2011 “ 31 May 2012, and an additional option period of 01 June 2012 “ 01 July 2012. Additionally, three one one-month option periods are being included to account for unexpected delays in the procurement process for the new MATO, which could potentially extend services under the bridge contracts through 30 September 2012. These companies are the only known contractors that can provide continuity of care with the health care workers who have been privileged to work at the aforementioned sites and are trained and familiar with hospital procedures. The lead-time required for an alternate contractor to recruit and hire a replacement staff, submit Individual Professional Files for each health care worker and for the sites to complete the privileging process does not exist prior to the required 01 June 2011 start date. Interested parties may identify their capability to respond to this requirement in a proposal to this office by 2:00 pm, EDST, on Wednesday, 30 March 2011 by email to Acquisitions@med.navy.mil (reference code 023J in subject line) or telefaxed to 301-619-6793. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. A determination not to compete this proposed contract based upon response to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. No documents exist and no further information is available at this time.
