- SOLICITATION NO. F11PS00518 PROJECT TITLE: Cattaraugus Creek Lamprey Trap, Springville, New York PROJECT LOCATION: U. S. Fish and Wildlife Service, Region 3, Cattaraugus Creek at Springville Dam, southwest of Springville, NY, in Erie County, Illinois PROJECT CONSISTS OF: Install Lamprey Trapping Structure - This item includes providing all materials, equipment, and labor for constructing a flow control and lamprey trap system at the intake and tailrace of the existing powerhouse of Springville Dam on Cattaraugus Creek. Work includes but is not limited to site preparation, construction and removal of temporary cofferdams and intake closure plate, dewatering, installing and maintaining erosion control, select demolition, silt removal and disposal, placement of rock bedding and riprap, fence repair, steel door sizing, concrete repair, constructing a concrete foundation, fabricating and constructing stoplog channels, access platforms, handrailing, lamprey trapping structure, flow guide panels, basket lifting cranes, and access ladder, including all attachement mechanisms and support members. Repairing any pieces of the existing facility damaged during construction. ESTIMATED MAGNITUDE: The magnitude of this requirement in terms of physical characteristics and estimated price range is between $250,000.00 and $500,000.00. SOCIOECONOMIC PROGRAMS: This procurement is NOT set-aside exclusively for small business concerns. For information purposes, the North American Industry Classification Code (NAICS) is 237990, Other Heavy and Civil Engineering Construction with a size standard of $33.5 million. The Solicitation Package will be available via electronic commerce at http://ideasec.nbc.gov and http://www.fedbizopps.gov on or about April 11, 2011 with a Bid Opening occurring on or about May 11, 2011. The Solicitation Package will include the following: An itemized Bid Schedule, Scope of Work, Drawings, and Prevailing Wage Determination and Bid Bond Form. Please ensure you have a complete downloaded Solicitation Package before submitting your Bid. It is the Contractor's responsibility to ensure that they receive all appropriate solicitation documents to submit a competitive Bid.
