- Event Title: 10th Annual Veterans and Small Business Training and Outreach Conference Date: April 12-14, 2011 Location: Sparks, Nevada, John Ascuaga's Nugget Hotel This conference is open to both government, non-government personnel, small and large businesses, veterans and non-veterans! The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers and the California DVBE Alliance are looking forward to networking with you! There will be a wide variety of workshops and networking sessions that will keep you up-to-date regarding Federal procurement. These featured workshops are designed to help small businesses find new government marketplace opportunities. There will also be an expanded Source Connection (matchmaking program) that promises more productive appointments with the federal and state agencies and prime contractors that are specifically looking for your product or service. This will be your chance to network and identify your direct and indirect markets! Join us for networking, mentoring and "SOURCE CONNECTION." Key representatives from procurement agencies and industry will be available to counsel and address your individual questions and concerns. There will be a panel discussion and Q&A session with SPD Contracting Chiefs from all the Districts.
