Description
THIS NOTICE IS PROVIDED FOR INFORMATIONAL PURPOSES ONLY. The Naval Medical Logistics Command has a requirement for a firm fixed priced Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) requirements type contract in accordance with FAR 16.5 for immunoassay reagent kits for the simultaneous detection of hydrocodone and hydromorphone in urine to support the Department of Defense (DOD) Drug Testing Program Laboratories worldwide. The drug labs are located in San Diego, California; Jacksonville, Florida; Great Lakes, Illinois; Brooks City-Base, Texas; Fort Meade, Maryland; Tripler Army Medical Center, Hawaii; and Rockville, Maryland. The Naval Medical Logistics Command (NMLC) intends to release a solicitation in mid to late April 2011. This solicitation will result in one firm fixed price Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) requirements type contract with a five year period (base year plus four one-year options). Period of Performance shall be from 01 September 2011 to 31 August 2016. Approximately 4,500,000 tests shall be required annually. The requirement will be fulfilled via an unrestricted, full and open competitive acquisition. There are no set-aside restrictions for this requirement. All responsible sources may submit an offer. This solicitation is by electronic means only “ no hard copies will be mailed to offerors. The official release of the Request for Proposal (RFP) and all amendments will be posted on the Navy Electronic Business Opportunities (NECO) web site at https://www.neco.navy.mil/ which will upload to the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) website at https://www.fbo.gov. To receive consideration, Contractor must be registered with the Central Contractor Registration and have completed the Online Representations and Certifications (ORCA). Telephone requests will not be accepted.
