- Description
- This is a notice of intent to negotiate a purchase order on a sole source basis with the Cumberland County Civic Center, Crown Arena, 1960 Coliseum Drive located in Fayetteville, North Carolina. The Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302-1. The Government intends to award a firm fixed price contract. The NAICS cose is 531120 with $7.5 million size standard. The United States Army Special Operations Command (USASOC) has a requirement for the rental of a facility within a 20-mile radius of Fort Bragg that has the capability to seat a minimum of 1,000 personnel, up to a maximum of 5,200 during U.S. Army Special Forces Graduation Ceremonies. USASOC will hold eight (8) graduation ceremonies per year. The period of performance is a base year with four one-year options. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. A determination by the Government not to compete the proposed effort on a full and open competition basis is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Responses are due no later than 8 April 2011, 10:00 am EST.
