- This contract is for the reclamation of the Benny Freeman Landslide II emergency project located in Phelps, Pike County, KY. Project Description: The work to be performed under this contract consists of the mitigation of unstable soil conditions and management of errant mine drainage. All construction shall be completed in accordance with the technical specifications and attached typical drawings. All work shall be completed in a professional workmanship like manner customary to this field of expertise and to the satisfaction and approval of the COR and Contracting Officer. The estimated cost range is $60,000.00-$80,000.00. The North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for this acquisition in 237990. The small business size standard is $33.5M. A PREBID CONFERENCE AND SITE VISIT WILL BE CONDUCTED ON 3/30/2011 @ 11:00 AM. POTENTIAL BIDDERS ARE TO MEET AT: The intersection of Rt. 632 and Rt. 194 at Phelps, KY (not Kimper, KY). The project location is 1.9 miles further east on Rt. 194 (on the right). Bids will be opened on Wednesday, April 6, 2011 @ 3:00 PM. OSM located at 1405 Greenup Avenue, Room 224, Ashland, KY 41101. Electronic and/or faxed bids will not be accepted. Contractors doing business with the Government are required to have a DUNs number, register in the Central Contractor Registration at ccr.gov data base and complete on line representations and certifications at orca.bpn.gov.
