- Description
- The Department of Veteran Affairs, VA Midwest Health Care System (VISN 23) Network Contract Activity (NCA) on behalf of the Minneapolis VA Minneapolis Health Care System (MVAHCS) anticipates soliciting proposals and consequently awarding a contract for the Automatic Transfer Switch Replacement project for buildings located at the VA Medical Center Minneapolis, One Veterans Drive, Minneapolis MN 55417. The Contractor shall provide all labor, materials, and equipment to accomplish the work required for the "Automatic transfer Switch Replacement" project. The solicitation will be conducted in accordance with FAR part 15 (Contracting by Negotiation) and part 36(Construction) and will evaluated with procedures therein. The solicitation will be advertised as a Total Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) Set Aside. The period of performance is 478 days for the entire project. Magnitude of Construction is between $1,000,000 and $2,000,000. NAICS code is 236220, $33.5 million. The solicitation documents including specifications will be issued on or about April 15, 2011. The date is not firm and may change due to events out of our control. Proposals will be due 30 days after issuance of the solicitation. This notice is for informational purposes only and is not a request for proposals. The Government is not obligated to issue a solicitation as a result of this notice. No other information is available until issuance of the solicitation. NO proposers list is maintained. Prospective contractors must be registered in the Central Contractors Registration (CCR) database in order to obtain access in FedBiz Opps. CCR and Vetbiz registration must be current and active to be eligible for contract award. Contractors please note: Online Representations and Certifications Applications (ORCA) apply to this solicitation.
