- The dates included in this announcement are approximate and may be subject to change at the discretion of the Bureau of Reclamation. Actual dates will be established at the time the solicitation is made available. This is a pre-solicitation announcement with a synopsis of the requested service. A complete Statement of Work (SOW) will be available upon release of the solicitation. Bureau of Reclamation, Great Plains Regional Office, intends to solicit quotes for services that consist of preparing a report giving recommendations on whether the BOR unevaluated facilities greater than 50 years old includin, but not limited to, dams and their associated buildings and structures, and irrigation facilities which belong to or are under management of Reclamation in the Dakotas Area Office (DKAO) meet criteria of eligibility for nomination to the National Register of Historic Places (NRHP). The following is ONLY a synopsis: Work includes, but is not limited to, making formal determinations of eligibility for the NRHP for all DKAO owned or managed properties or features under DKAO easement or management associated with certain projects; providing broad-based management guidance for those resources found to be eligible for the NRHP, including future potential or anticipated cultural resource compliance issues, and how cultural resource impacts of future federal undertakings may be evaluated. Some of the locations of the projects with unevaluated facilities are the Buford-Trenton Project located along the north bank of the Missouri River adjoining the towns of Buford and Trenton, North Dakota. Dickinson Unit - dam is located in Stark County, North Dakota. Fort Clark Unit - Fort Clark extends along the west bank of the Missouri River for about 6 miles from Fort Clark to within 2.5 miles of Stanton, North Dakota. Heart Butte Unit - Dam is located in Grant and Morton counties in North Dakota. Jamestown Unit - Jamestown ND. Keyhole Unit - Crook County, Wyoming. Pactola - Pennington County, South Dakota. Shadehill Unit - on the Grand River in northwest South Dakota. Deerfield Unit - Pennington County, South Dakota. The solicitation will be available for viewing through electronic commerce. Solicitation number R11PS60228 will be issued via https://www.fbo.gov. Interested vendors may also check Reclamation's website at http://ideasec.nbc.gov. In order to download a copy of the solicitation, vendors are encouraged to register their company with the electronic commerce website. Be prepared with your company DUNS Number, available from Dun and Bradstreet at 1-888-546-0024 and your Federal Tax Identification Number (TIN). The solicitation and any subsequent amendments and/or notices will be available to vendors on these websites on or after March 31, 2011. The North American Industry Classification System code is 541990, All Other Professional, Scientific, and Technical Services. The Small Business Size Standard is $7.0 million. Vendors are reminded they must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) and in the Online Representations and Certifications Application (ORCA) to be considered for contract award (no exceptions). Registrations can be completed by going to www.ccr.gov and https://orca.bpn.gov/. The vendor's Dun & Bradstreet number, Federal tax ID number, and banking information are required for registrations. All responsible sources who submit a timely quote will be considered for this acquisition. Upon release of the solicitation, quotes may be submitted electronically. The Government reserves the right to cancel this announcement and the resulting solicitation at any time. This announcement does not constitute a solicitation.
